Holocaust Survivor Assistance Service
Offers services which are designed to help elderly survivors of the Holocaust live their remaining years safely, with dignity, and as independently as possible. Jews who resided in European countries which were subject to Nazi rule and control between 1933 and 1945 are eligible. Forty-one regional survivors received a total of 88 office visits and 90 home visits to assist with needs specific to this population. Over $7,500 in financial assistance was granted to regional holocaust survivors, from funds received from the Claims Conference Holocaust Survivor Emergency Assistance Program.
